Our focus on safety and managing the achievement of tasks to deadlines is made possible by NSW Networks experience and skill in conducting public trenching and civil works on projects both large and small.
NSW Networks has performed horizontal directional boring and non-destructive digging in a wide variety of different terrains and environments.
Horizontal directional boring, is a fast and effective boring method for digging non-vertical spaces for pipe, conduit and cable using a pneumatic bore.
This allows for our operations to bore beneath objects that already exist on the surface, such as roads, train lines, buildings, rivers and through rugged terrain, eliminating the need to open cut surfaces. This allows for effective non-destructive digging and pipe installation with low impact on the immediate environment.
We are able to bore from 20mm up to six-way P100 duct runs as part of our boring capabilities.
